Stensul, the AI governance platform for enterprise email marketing, today announced its November release, which extends governance to campaign performance. The release introduces Self-Improving Email, now in early access, which connects the performance of every email to the specific content inside it, so each new send learns from the last.
The November release also makes it simpler and faster to personalize subject lines and preheaders by audience, gives new customers a branded, governed email library from day one, catches compliance issues earlier, and makes render-tested proofs easy to share. Stensul’s Marketing Cloud Next integration with Salesforce is now generally available.
“Stensul helps us spend less time checking the basics and more time on the email itself,” said Karolin Martus, Marketing Operations Manager, MarTech Strategy & Enablement at Sophos. “Automated link checks and consistent layouts streamline creation and quality control, so our team can focus on delivering relevant campaigns with less manual checking and correction.”
The new Self-Improving Email feature goes beyond today’s basic subject and body testing, by dynamically connecting the performance of emails to the specific content within them. AI agents and marketers can use insights from personalized and localized variants to identify content patterns associated with stronger results and apply those learnings to future sends. People retain control of review, approval, and what reaches customers.
Manlio Carrelli, CEO of Stensul, explains: “Governance is not only a legal and brand question, but also a question of whether the content actually performs. As teams scale personalization and localization with AI, they need to know every variant is safe to ship, and they also need a process to measure and improve all those variants, so each email learns from the last one. Our November release expands the tools our customers have to do exactly that.”
The following capabilities round out the November release alongside Self-Improving Email:
- Inbox optimization extends Stensul’s personalization beyond the email body to subject lines and preheaders. Marketers can assign different subject lines and preheaders to existing audience segments within one campaign, writing the copy themselves, using AI suggestions, or both, then review and approve the variations in their existing workflow. No separate campaign build is needed for each segment.
- Compliance pre-send checks monitor for required legal and compliance content while emails are being created, so issues are caught before they reach reviewers. Enterprise teams consistently cite legal and compliance review as a last-mile blocker for getting email shipped.
- Shareable render-tested proofs: Stensul already produces render-tested code across major email clients and mobile and desktop formats. The release makes it simple to share those final proofs across the organization for review, and to keep them as a record of what shipped.
- Fast-Start Brand Setup: Customers start on day one with a governed library of branded email templates and content blocks, built to customer-specified brand, regulatory, and compliance requirements and to email performance best practices, along with recommended governance settings. Stensul’s team uses AI to prepare the library and reviews the output, so teams can start building and testing branded emails right away during onboarding or a rebrand.
- Marketing Cloud Next integration, now generally available: Teams can move approved campaigns from Stensul into Salesforce Marketing Cloud Next for personalization and activation. Learn more on Salesforce AppExchange.
